Variations and concepts
Creative concepts, Surprise me, several storyboards at once and how Reelamo avoids repeating itself.
Creative concepts
A concept is the creative approach of an ad: how it opens, what it shows and how it builds to the call to action. Reelamo has fourteen:
- Problem and solution, Before and after, Product demo, How-to
- Listicle, Number hook, Comparison, Myth vs fact
- Customer voice, Mini story, Objection buster, One big question
- Offer first, Seasonal moment
Customer voice and other concepts that need proof only use quotes, ratings or numbers that are in your brief.
Surprise me
Choose Surprise me and Reelamo picks a concept that fits your brief and that you haven't used for a while. It's the easiest way to keep your ads fresh.
Several storyboards at once
On the New ad page you can create up to five storyboards from one brief, each with a different concept and opening. Storyboards are free: compare them side by side and only render the ones you like. Each rendered ad counts as one ad.
A new variation of an ad
On any ad, choose New variation for a fresh storyboard with the same brief and media but a different concept. You'll find all variations of an ad together under Variations.
No repeats
Reelamo remembers the last ads of each brand: the concept, the opening, the layouts, the text animation, the music and the headlines. New ads avoid repeating them, while your logo, colors, captions and voice stay the same. Set how much your ads may differ with Variety between ads in your brand.
Testing what works
Run two to five variations side by side in your ad manager with the same budget and audience. After a few days, keep the winner and make new variations of its concept. Changing one thing at a time, such as the opening, tells you most.
